Polyvinylidene fluoride solder sleeves

The solder sleeves D-142-50, D-142-51 and D-142-52 are made of a transparent clear heat shrinkable tube of cross-linked polyvinylidene fluoride, a solder preform with flux and two meltable sealing rings. The transparent heat shrinkable tube provides inspectability and protection of various levels of environmental protection. The fluxed solder preform allows a highly controlled and replicable soldering process. The meltable sealing rings on each end of the solder sleeves makes a fully insulated, protected and strain-relieved solder connection. The solder devices ensures high-quality electrical and mechanical performance. These solder sleeves are often used to ground shield terminators and are suitable for demanding environments. The unique one-piece design makes the installation easy and lowers the installation costs. Solder sleeves in general provides a reliable termination and reduces rejects and field failures. Assemblies will meet the requirements of National Aerospace Standard NAS-1745. Ask the specialists at Raytronics for details and prices. Many solder sleeves are available on stock.
