Mostly medical heat shrink tubes are compatible for use with ETO and GAMMA sterilization and comes with USP Class VI. For abrasion protection of medical instruments MT1000 and MT3000 are often used. For balloon and stent process aid like laser welding we recommend the polyolefin made MT-LWA and RNF-100 special sizes or the peelable PEEL tubes made of fluoropolymer. MT2000 was developed for laparoscopic-electrosurgical device insulation and MT3000 for protection and insulation of highly flexible joints.
