Self-amalgamating silicone tape for rail applications, EN 45545-2
Features
The tape 77FR is a silicone elastomer tape, which self-amalgamates at ambient temperature. Tape 77FR is specifically manufactured to offer more flame resistance. The elongation of Tape 77FR ranges from 300 to 500%.
After several hours at ambient temperature, the surface of these tapes sticks together when light pressure is added. These tapes are used for sealing, connecting and finishing the cut ends of sleeves exposed to high temperature. These products can also be used to provide local protection to connection accessories and other wire harness components.
Due to EN45545-2 R22 HL2 and R23 HL2 this silicon tape can be used for several applications in the rail industry. This silicone tape is very easy to install and UL 94 V0 flammability rated.
