Self-amalgamating silicone tapes provides good fluid resistance, ideal for sealing, connecting and finishing cut ends
The tapes 66N and 67N are silicone elastomer tapes, which self-amalgamates at ambient temperature. The maximum elongation ranges from 200% up to 500%. Composed of a fiberglass base coated with self-amalgamating silicone elastomer, the tape 68N provides a high temperature mechanical protection.
After several hours at ambient temperature, the surface of these tapes sticks together when a light pressure is engaged. These tapes are used for sealing, connecting and finishing the cut ends of sleeves exposed to high temperature. These products could also be used to protect locally harness parts and connection accessories.
